1. "Try to Hang On" is light and listener friendly, one of the best tracks on the album; it is followed by "Gold Nuggets" which is almost a continuation of "Try to Hang On." "She Breaks Like Morning Sky" interrupts the flow a bit, driving a little harder, but the performance is still light years beyond the previous album.

4. The first album by Pavlov's Dog, inclusive of the emotive Julia, as one of the tracks. David Surkamp's brilliant vocal vibrato is at it's best, and the CD was new and inexpensive. If you haven't discovered Pavlov's Dog before, you are in for a treat. Highly individual sound, quite a difference from manufactured Pop and Rap around currently/5(83).

The third album appeared as a bootleg in the s, a limited edition pressed from stolen master tapes. It was released under the name The St. Louis Hounds, without Pavlov's Dog credited on the sleeve.

In fact, comparatively to their first release "Pampered Menial", there is some evolution in their progressive playing showed by longer instrumental passages, particularly in the beginning of the album.
